We are excited to announce that we are interviewing school social workers for our district in Overland Park, KS. We are seeking someone for the summer term who is passionate about uplifting the lives of our special education students. Please see the details below:
What You Need: - A master's degree from a graduate school of social work program
- Must be an ActiveLicensed School Social Worker in Kansas
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required
Details about the position: - Full Time: 37.5 Hours/Week
- September 2025 - June 2026
- Caseload: 20-40 students
- Itinerant throughout district

Hourly Pay: starting at $35-40+ depending on experience
Duties:
- Provide targeted support to students with moderate social-emotional or behavioral needs interfering with school success.
- Qualify students for services using the districts identification criteria, and transition students to exit service when appropriate
- Provide individual and/or small group counseling based on therapy goals
- Maintain documentation of services
- Regular collaboration and communication with families and school personnel
- Conduct crisis screenings and interventions as needed
